On the antiques subreddit, there’s a special ban for making jokes about “dating” an object. A chair. A table. Anything.
Rule 8. Do not post things that contribute nothing. And do not make jokes, especially about the word "date".
Everything posted or commented here must contribute something in good faith to the community. Do not share things that contribute nothing. Do not make jokes when somebody is asking a serious question. Never make jokes about the use of the word "date" in relation to dating antiques.
